Message of the Consul General

The Consulate General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Mumbai, India was founded in 1993 covering the consular area of urban and suburban Mumbai City and Mumbai Port.
Since then, the Consulate General has served as a bridge, positively contributed to the improvement of Vietnam - India relations in general, and Vietnam - Maharashtra State relations in particular.
Apart from functioning as a consular representative agency, the Consulate General also takes interest in external relation advocacy and economic development.
